There’s a kid who goes to my school, and his dad has a matte gray RS7 tuned to 900-something horsepower. It’s got HRE wheels and some sweet exhaust. I saw it when he was picking the kid’s brother up, and it backfired just pulling out of a parking space. I want it so bad.

One of my friends rode in it on a day when there wasn’t much traffic and the guy took it up to 100 on one of Memphis’ main roads in the space of about 1/8th of a mile. In the rain.

It looks almost exactly like this one. I park next to his kid, who’s got a ‘13 S5. Even though it’s got the V6, I’d take it over the 4Runner any day.

I’m just tired of driving manual on my commute. I’d be lucky to reach third gear. That’s just how much traffic there is.

The only time I’ve been glad for an automatic was this past weekend when I was driving my rental 328i in the Bay Area. If I was living there I would understand but for my usual driving habits I’ll stick to three pedals.

I’ve never owned an automatic, but I’m warming up to them. Especially the S3 gearbox.

My commute is all city streets, with lots of hills. I have hill assist, but still.
